Barca bag up Baggies boy Barry
WEST BROM are raging after Barcelona announced the signing of one of their top starlets, striker Louie Barry.
But the Baggies and the FA have still to ratify the move, which means the 16-year-old cannot yet play for the Spanish giants.
Club officials accept the move is inevitable, but they are furious at getting just £235,000 in compensation. This is because of FIFA’S flat rate for payments to overseas clubs for young players.
Paris Saint-germain offered him a five-year deal, but Barry has instead opted for Barcelona on a three-year contract.
