CALL A KAB Christian’s advice for anyone at Watford who is not up for the fight: You can clear off now!

-

without a league win, you have to trawl down to the seventh tier, where Corinthian Casuals are currently propping up the Isthmian League Premier Division.

A defiant Kabasele said: “It is still only 10 games played.

“If there is anyone in the team who doesn’t still believe, then he can leave now. I am sure we will turn it around.

“Last year almost everything was going for us – but not this season. That happens when you are in a bad run.

“But we have to keep believing, and the attitude will be really important in the next few weeks.

“Obviously we’re worried about not having won a match in the Premier League. You have to be when you look at the table.

“And with the quality in our squad it is unacceptable to be last. But we have to work harder, and there is a big period coming up with games against those near us.

“For this relegation fight we must have faith in ourselves and try to leave bottom place to someone else.”

Ben Foster (left) kept Bournemouth at bay with a string of fine saves – but the Watford attack is toothless without injured strikers Troy Deeney and Danny Welbeck. Former England keeper Foster, 36, just edged a manof-the-match contest with the Cherries’ new young No.1 Aaron Ramsdale.

Kabasele said: “Ben is one of the best goalkeepers in the league and if it wasn’t for him we would have lost.

“So he made a valuable contribution this week – and maybe next week it will be a striker that will do the same.

“When you have someone like Ben behind the defence it makes it easier to play. “He is very vocal and helps us a lot.”
