Murray’s brave return from hip surgery has been filmed for a behind-the-scenes movie for Amazon
ANDY MURRAY is to star in his own film charting his comeback from the brink of retirement to emotional victory in Antwerp last month.

Video documentary ‘Andy Murray: Resurfacing’ promises behind-the-scenes access to the Scot’s recovery from two hip operations.
The double Olympic champion, who feared he would have to quit the sport in January, broke down in tears when he won his first ATP title since 2017 last month.
From world No.1 when filming started two years ago, he fell to No.839 last year before battling his way back up the rankings and is now at 127.
The Scot is now set to lead Great Britain’s challenge at the Davis
Cup later this month and then play in the Australian Open a year after organisers produced a tribute to his career after his first-round defeat.
“I knew I was at a critical point in my career,” said the 32-year-old. “At times it felt like I was letting people down by not being able to perform on court, and I wanted to give an insight into what I was going through.
“I wanted to show the ups and downs of professional sport. The film will take you on a journey through what were some of the lowest, most difficult periods of my life, both physically and mentally, and will hopefully show viewers that, with the right mindset and work ethic, anything is possible.”
As well as unprecedented access to the former Wimbledon champion, the featurelength documentary will also include interviews with his family, team members and fellow stars Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Murray has starred in adverts for Amazon’s tennis coverage and is supporting their Prime Video Future Talent Award to provide £60,000 in funding to two young British players.
The subscription streaming service has produced docu-series on Manchester City, Leeds, Borussia Dortmund and the All Blacks and is currently filming this season with Tottenham.
