Footballer’s £630,000 of jewellery... on one hand
CRISTIANO Ronaldo shows he favours the diamond formation – as he sports jewellery worth £630,000 on just one hand.
The Portugal star wore a rare £380,000 Rolex Gmt-master Ice watch, a £50,000 diamond band and a women’s engagement ring worth an estimated £200,000 at a sports conference in Dubai.
The Juventus forward’s Rolex is made of 18-carat white gold and boasts hundreds of 30ct diamonds.
The 34-year-old picked up the best men’s player prize at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards and revealed that when his glittering football career comes to an end he wants to be a Hollywood star.
The former Manchester United and
Real Madrid ace said: “I hope I live more than 50 years more and I want to prepare to face the obstacles of a new life, to do things I don’t know how to do.
“For example to participate in a movie in Hollywood.
“But you need to have a good preparation, you need to have top English to give a top performance and then you don’t have to be nervous.
“It’s hard for me to be nervous in football because that’s what I have prepared for my whole life.”
He would follow in the footsteps of former Manchester United star Eric Cantona, 53, who has appeared in a string of French flicks since retiring in 1997, and ex-wimbledon hardman Vinnie Jones, 54, who has starred in movies including Mean Machine.
Ronaldo posted an Instagram photo with the trophy he scooped in Dubai last weekend, appearing alongside his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, 25, son Cristiano Jr, nine, daughter Alana, two, and two-year-old twins Eva and Mateo.
He said he was “honoured” to receive the prize, adding: “A very emotional moment for me to share this award with my family. Grateful for all the hospitality, see you soon Dubai!”
Ronaldo, who also owns a £1.2million Franck Muller watch, is enjoying a winter break and is set to return to Serie A action against Cagliari on January 6.
But he still found time for a kickabout in the UAE with a 12-year-old boy who was born without legs. Ali Turganbekov, from Kazakhstan, posted an Instagram video of his encounter with his idol.
