TWO women and a child had a lucky escape when the house they were in was petrol-bombed.
The attack took place at Jubilee Park in Cookstown, Co Tyrone, shortly before 4.10am yesterday.
The device is believed to have landed below the property’s front window, damaging a child’s bike.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Scorch damage was caused to both the window sill and the wall.
“Two females, aged 49 and 21, as well as a young child were inside the house but were not injured.
“It was also reported liquid was poured over a car parked in the area but no damage was reported.”
