After Russell, Aussie soap’s top cameos
Everybody needs good Neighbours – including Russell Brand. The comedian will be making a guest appearance on the Aussie soap next month, filmed during a tour.
Russ runs into Neighbours icon Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi, played by Ryan Moloney, who says: “You’re Russell Brand! What are you doing here?”.
But Brand isn’t the first celebrity to drop in on Erinsborough.
From Emma Bunton to David Walliams, these are the stars who have made Neighbours their good friend.
While filming in London, in 2007, Neighbours became the go-to show for several British stars, including Emma Bunton.
She helped Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) and his partner Susan Kinski (Jackie Woodburn) on a trip of a lifetime to the UK for a romantic wedding on the Thames, by searching for their lost ring. Unsuspecting Karl had no idea who the former Spice Girl was.
