‘Powers-style’ makeover for Boris’s dull jet
AN RAF plane is being repainted red, white and blue for Boris Johnson to fly around the world in, it was reported last night.
The Prime Minister’s A330 Voyager aircraft is undergoing a patriotic makeover in a move sounding like something “from Austin Powers”, according to a source.
Mr Johnson previously asked: “Why is it grey?”
He apparently did not realise the plane had to be grey to make it harder for enemies to spot in the sky during military operations.
A source reportedly told Sky News: “Boris doesn’t like it being grey. He is getting it painted up.”
The jet, refurbished for £10million, is for use by the PM, Foreign Secretary and senior royals.
