Molineux: Tomorrow, 2pm

NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO admits his squad must “reunite” after the transfer window closes on Monday.

Wolves suffered their biggest Premier League loss under their Portuguese boss (above) when thrashed 4-0 at West Ham on Sunday.

It sparked criticism from fans who this summer saw Diogo Jota move to Liverpool and Matt Doherty join Spurs.

Star duo Adama a Traore and Raul Jimenez have also been linked with bigger clubs, while new signings Fabio Silva, Ki-jana Hoever, Nelson Semedo, Vitor Ferreira and Fernando Marcal are still bedding in.

But ahead of Fulham’s visit tomorrow, Espirito Santo insists he is not attempting a “radical change” and hopes his squad will soon gel.

“We’re happy with the squad,” he said. “We wish Diogo and Matt all the success in their clubs and it is up to us now.

“It’s important when the transfer window is closed that we have the moment to reunite and from then move on.

“We believe we can evolve, that is where we are working. It is not a radical change, that would be absurd.

“Confidence in the players is what we have and we give them the space to put their talent on the pitch.

“We are trying and we believe in this process no matter the results. It is what we want to achieve and sustain. We don’t work under fear, we work to do things right.” rig

D Despite the c changes this s summer, skipper Conor Coady has stayed on a new f five-year deal.

It rewards the defe defender, who has not missed a league game for the club since 2017, for breaking into the England squad.

But Espirito Santo admits that because Coady (above) will no longer be resting in the international break, he may need to be handled differently.

“Let things happen and see how Coady deals with the situation,” he added.

“We know how important he is for us.

“When players go away with the national teams, when they come back is when you do the proper assessments.”
