‘I WANT TO BE SONG & DANCE MAN’

- BY CHRIS MCKENNA

CARLO ANCELOTTI has been learning the words to Everton’s chart-topper Spirit of the Blues – but he won’t sing it until they lift a trophy.

The Toffees boss is loving the feelgood atmosphere at

Goodison Park after six successive wins.

And supporters got on board last week with a push for the 1985 tune to rocket up the itunes charts.

You won’t catch Ancelotti singing and dancing to it yet, but that could change if they win the Carabao Cup on February 28 or finish the season in Europe.

Ancelotti (above) said: “It is a beautiful song. I put the song on my playlist.

“I’m trying to learn the song and also dancing. I saw a video of Richarlison and Yerry Mina dancing with the kids, so I would like to do it like this.

“But I’m used to singing only after a victory. We have to wait until the end of the season, I hope. Maybe February 28.”

But as they prepare to host Brighton, Ancelotti has warned his bubbling Blues they need to stay in tune even if their unbeaten start ends today.

He said: “The players are more motivated. The atmosphere is good. But I know it is going to finish, this beautiful bubble.

“It is a beautiful bubble we are living now where everything is OK, everything is perfect.

“It is going to finish sooner or later. Then the strength of the squad is shown when the danger is coming.

“We have to be ready. We have to be strong then.

“Maybe it comes against Brighton, I don’t know, because the opponent is really strong and if we are not focused the danger will come.”
