JODIE‘LL MURDER FOR ONE OF MUM’S ROAST DINNERS

- AMY PACKER Edited by

Finally it’s clear why Killing Eve star Jodie Comer still lives in her childhood bedroom at her parents’ house in Liverpool.

Mum even sends her off with a packed lunch roast dinner – complete with a swamp of mint sauce – while she’s filming.

“Nothing gets in the way of me and my mum’s roast,” says the Emmy and BAFTA winner, who had the home cooking delivered to the set of Channel 4’s Help while filming in Cheshire with Stephen Graham.

“Jammy cow,” added the actress, which is presumably what the cast and crew were calling her for the rest of the shoot.

Gone are the days of prescribing bed rest for back pain – in fact, it has been shown to be counterproductive.

In most cases, once you are past the initial acute stage, evidence shows that you are more likely to reduce discomfort by continuing your daily activities.

The good news is that the more we move, the better we can protect our backs and the less pain we will experience.

So it is incredibly important to add regular movement and stretching into your everyday routine, particularly if you are prone to back pain.

Lack of movement will weaken the key spinal and support muscles, eventually exerting extra pressure on to the surrounding bones and causing back pain.

Strong, supple muscles will support the spine and keep bones strong, allowing for a greater range of movement.

By specifically building pelvic floor, core and glute strength, these muscle groups will help support and stabilise the spine and pelvis, improving your posture and aiding better movement.
