Leinster’s Scot a lot left in the tank says Leo

LEINSTER coach Leo Cullen admits they will need to show improvement as they prepare to face Ulster in a top of the table clash next Saturday.
His men will head north to Kingspan Stadium with a six-point cushion after seeing off the challenge of an ill-disciplined Glasgow Warriors side at the RDS.
The release of nine Scottish internationals suggested Glasgow might produce a big display in a dismal season, but they lacked the discipline to do so and two yellow cards and a red left them fighting a losing cause.
Leinster had their 12th try bonus point in 13 games wrapped up by the interval but they didn’t push on and only made the game safe when the Scots went down to 13 men in the closing 10 minutes.
“We got the win, got the bonus point and we move on to the next game and that’s going to be a huge challenge for us against Ulster,” said Cullen.
“It was a pretty mixed performance apart, maybe, from the first quarter of the game. Particularly at the start of the second-half, that was a critical period.
“We had scored four tries just before half-time, Glasgow had a red card, but the first 10 minutes of the second-half we allowed Glasgow get a lot of momentum, our discipline was not great and they scored two tries.
“We showed good composure which is pleasing, but it was very scrappy.”
BEN FOAKES insists drawing the
Test series 2-2 India will be a “really good achievement” if England can bounce back from two big defeats.
The tourists have been routed by India’s spinners on turning tracks since winning the opening match.
On Thursday Joe Root’s side face the unenviable challenge of returning to the scene of their two-day defeat in the day/night third Test.
Wicketkeeper Foakes (above) said: “We’ve been completely outplayed the last two games but we’re still in a position to get a 2-2 draw, and that would be a really good achievement.”
