- BY SIMON BIRD

Sheff Wed v Rotherham Kick-off 7.45pmtonight. DARREN MOORE has told Sheffield Wednesday that the time for splits and division is over.

The new Owls boss (below) takes charge of his first game in the local derby against relegation rivals Rotherham

Wednesday have had four bosses this season in a spell blighted by problems on and off the field. Moore wants to reinstate a proper team ethic, and to unite the supporters too.

He said: “We need a unity, a oneness. The message goes out to the fans... get behind us, look forward to the last 14 games and join forces, and focus.

“It is a great challenge. Short term, you want to get in and work and get results. Long term you want to leave a legacy.”

0 GEORGE PUSCAS kept promotion-chasing Reading on the heels of the leaders last night.

It was the striker’s first start for the Royals since November and he celebrated with a first league goal for six months.

The 24-year-old (below) with a name fit for a matchwinner scored in the 24th minute to earn Veljko Paunovic’s side a vital victory.

But it was another grim result for Blackburn and boss Tony Mowbray. They have taken only a single point from the last 21 available, with top scorer Adam Armstrong missing a late chance.

It was all about the recalled Puscas in the first half. The forward, back after a hernia, saw a close-range header brilliantly tipped over by Thomas Kaminski.

Puscas’s impudent lob from 35 yards then landed on the roof of the net, but his emphatic finish won it.
