THE girlfriend of TV star Nicholas Lyndhurst’s son Archie has told of her enduring love for him nearly two years after he died in his sleep.

Nethra Tilakumara said the 19-yearold had “completely changed” her life and for the better.

Nethra, 21, added: “You’re a once in a lifetime kind of boy... and I can’t believe my luck, that I found you.”

Only Fools and Horses star Nicholas and wife Lucy were devastated when their only son died last September.

He had a brain haemorrhage caused by acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a very rare condition his family had no idea he had. This week, Nethra remembered their anniversary on Instagram.

She wrote: “To my best friend, Happy 2 Year anniversary, my love.

“I only wished for so many more years and all I can say, is when you know, you know and I did.

Thank you for making me laugh from the day we met, thank god I found a boy who could put up with my snoring. Everything was always an adventure, always fun.

“Thank you for unconditionally loving me and making me a better person.

“I will never meet such a beautiful, gentle, incredibly kind, erudite, thoughtful and insanely talented young man again.. oh and also very funny.

“April 12th, the day I will cherish for the rest of my life. Happy 2 years beautiful boy, I love you. I’ll find you again.”

Archie had been acting since he was 10 and played Ollie Coulton in CBBC comedy So Awkward, which also featured Nethra.

In March, on her first Mother’s Day without him, Lucy wrote: “To get through today without you is the hardest thing.

“Life is fragile, precious and sometimes incredibly cruel.”
