Brother of the Ripper dies age 71
THE BROTHER of the Yorkshire Ripper has died just one year after his serial killer brother, saying before he passed: “I think I’ll go to a different place.”
Mick Sutcliffe, 71, had been suffering from lung disease and diabetes when he died at home in Bingley, West Yorks.
He had stayed in touch with evil Peter, who killed 13 women – sharing weekly phone calls until a few weeks before the murderer’s death in 2020.
In an interview earlier this month, Mick added: “I didn’t think he was capable of anything like that.”
Mick had been housebound for five years and died on February 18.
His daughter Michelle wrote: “It’s not often life brings us someone as special as my dad.”
