Singer takes the plunge at swimming spot

HARRY Styles appeared to enjoy a few beers with Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson after sea swimming in Dublin.

The singer took to the stage last night in front of screaming fans at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium as part of his sold-out Love On Tour world tour.

But just a day before he took to the stage, Styles cooled off at a

popular Dublin swimming spot with girlfriend Olivia Wilde – and it appeared the star enjoyed a few cans of Guinness afterwards.

The couple were accompanied by actress Eve, who was seen holding a bottle of beer as she walked down the steps.

Bono and U2 typically gift bands a special hamper which include cans of Guinness along with bottles of champagne – with an intriguing recipe attached to the hamper.

Apparently U2’s “Black Velvet” recipe requires the simultaneous pouring of stout and the champagne into a large glass.

Harry was pictured holding a yellow Tower Records plastic bag which looked like there were cans of Guinness in it – but it is unclear if it was non-alcoholic Guinness in a bid to keep a clear head before his show last night.

Styles previously revealed he ditches the booze on tour, saying it dehydrates him.

The 28-year-old said: “Drinking dehydrates my voice. It would be really freeing if I could have a night out and then do a show the next day, but I just can’t.

“I did it once… it was my least favourite show ever. I felt like it was so bad. You owe it to who is coming.

“Even if it is our 40th show, it is most people’s first show.

“It kind of feels like if that is the sacrifice I have to make, then I am OK with it.” Harry also revealed he needs a “minimum of 10 to 11 hours” of sleep a day while touring and approaches his shows as if he is running a marathon.

He said: “It’s a pretty incredible thing I get to do and I love it so much, so to treat it as such doesn’t feel like a sacrifice.

“For those two or so hours a night, I want to be at 100% and give it everything.

“If that means for the rest of the time I’m resting and taking care of my body, then that is what it is.

“It doesn’t feel like I am giving up on life. If anything, I enjoy going into that meditative state on tour.”

Meanwhile, in

Dublin thousands of screaming fans queued hours before doors opened to his concert last night.

Some began queuing at

6am as they geared up for the Irish leg of Styles’ solo show – with some even travelling from other countries.

One fan told RTE News she travelled from the south of France for the concert.

She arrived before 7am and had no hesitation about queuing for more than 13 hours before the English singer-songwriter was due on stage at 8.30pm.

Before last night’s gig Styles enjoyed a few days in Dublin with his girlfriend taking in the sights.

Artist Nicole revealed she saw him being turned away by a few restaurants who didn’t recognise the couple when they tried to go for dinner without a reservation on Monday night.

She told FM104: “We were having a few drinks and we saw Harry Styles get rejected by a good few restaurants. I just thought it was funny...”

It’s a pretty incredible thing I get to do and I love it so much HARRY STYLES ON LIVING THE DREAM ON TOUR
