GRECALE TO MAKE DEBUT

The new Maserati Grecale is an SUV that sits under the existing Levante and will be a rival to cars such as the

Porsche Macan.

Three versions will be offered from launch – the GT, powered by a 300bhp mild-hybrid four-cylinder engine; the Modena with a 330bhp version of the same unit; and finally the Trofeo with a 530bhp 3.0-litre V6 engine.

In a year’s time the Grecale Folgore version will arrive with a fully electric powertrain. Prices start at £58,500 for the GT, £64,500 for the Modena and £95,590 for the Trofeo.

I hope it looks better in the metal than the Levante. I was following one of those the other day and thought that the new Kia Sportage looks more sporty and distinctive.
