ERIKSEN ALL YOURS, ERIK

-

FROM BACK PAGE has been offered the chance to stay at Brentford and has promised to make Bees boss Thomas Frank the first to know his next move.

Tottenham’s Antonio Conte worked with Eriksen at Inter Milan, where the pair won the 2021 Serie A title together.

And before Eriksen returned to competitive football, Conte said “the door is always open” to him training with Spurs.

But new United boss Erik ten Hag is interested in taking the player to Old Trafford as part of his rebuilding campaign.

And while there is also interest from Everton, United are now seen as the favourites to land him should he choose to quit Brentford.

If the deal gets done, it would be United’s first signing of the summer and would help appease Cristiano Ronaldo, with Spanish newspaper AS reporting he is worried by the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market so far.
