Letby baby’s ‘3 collapses’
THREE “odd” collapses of a baby girl allegedly murdered by nurse Lucy Letby came “out of the blue”, a court has heard.
Letby, 32, is said to have intravenously administered air into Child D’s bloodstream, causing a fatal blockage in 2015.
Medical expert witness Dr Sandie Bohin told Manchester crown court: “These were collapses that came out of the blue.
“It had to be something unusual and rather odd.”
Letby denies murdering seven babies and trying to kill 10 others at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The trial continues.
