LAMPARD TO GO SHOPPING IN JANUARY
FRANK LAMPARD will be forced into the January transfer window by striker Dominic Calvertlewin’s injury woes.
The 25-year-old has rarely been fit this season and, with Richarlison having left for Spurs, Lampard is short of strike options.
“It’s not an easy window in January because, generally, players who are playing well stay where they are and big moves rarely happen,” said Lampard (above). “But we’ll be looking at how we can help the squad in different ways.”
Calvert-lewin, out because of a hamstring problem, also has shoulder and knee worries.
Today’s game offers Everton a quick chance for revenge. They slumped 4-1 at Bournemouth in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.
