COVENTRY manager Mark Robins hopes Viktor Gyokeres can sign off with a bang before international duty.

Gyokeres (right) has scored seven goals this season as he has helped Coventry to three successive wins.

Robins has now given his star striker his blessing to join up with Sweden for two friendlies during the World Cup break.

Robins said: “Ultimately he wants to do it so I am not going to stand in his way.

“If I am called up to play by my country I am going, all day. I’m going to give the rest of the players a two-week break because of all the work they have done and what’s coming.”
