PSNI respond to altercation at lake resort
FIVE people were taken to hospital after what police described as a large altercation yesterday.
Police and ambulance attended the Lough Erne Resort outside Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
The PSNI said: “One man, aged 34, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He remains in custody at this time.”
In a Facebook post the resort stated: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to our valued guests and we are grateful to the emergency services for their speedy response.
“This was an isolated incident and it is business as usual with guest checkins taking place as normal.”
