Travelodge’s guest wanted Markle dress

HOTEL chain Travelodge has revealed some of the bizarre requests its staff have received this year, including one to borrow Meghan Markle’s dress.

Another guest wanted them to arrange a ride in a Formula One racing car around Milton Keynes. And there have also been requests for a cookery lesson from Aunt Bessie and to get the London Eye to rotate anti-clockwise.

One bride even asked if all the traffic lights in York could be programmed to go green at midday to ensure she got to the church on time.

Spokeswoman Shakila Ahmed said: “Where possible our hotel teams will go above and beyond.”
