Godrophenia as Pete and Roger plan church show

Who fancies a “carol service” with a difference? The Who do, that’s who.

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will perform acoustic versions of their greatest hits at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea, West London, to raise funds for Nordoff Robbins on Tuesday, December 13.

Pete laughs: “I didn’t really understand what Roger and I might be expected to do at a carol concert.

“But I now understand our presence is more valuable than whether I can still manage a descant on Angels We Have Heard On High.”
