Labour’s 100 years of wins
LABOUR will hold celebrations tomorrow marking a century of ballot box victories in Wales.
November 15, 1922, was the first time the party had won the most seats in a home nation.
Since then it has always been the biggest party in a general election in Wales or poll for the Senedd.
First Minister Mark Drakeford said: “Labour has much to celebrate by being the most successful party in Wales and, indeed, the democratic world.”
