STOCKPORT boss Dave Challinor believes next weekend’s visit of leaders Leyton Orient will measure the progress his promoted side.

The Hatters moved into the top half of the table for the first time and Challinor said: “It will be a different game and another good challenge.

“It’s a tough game but we go into it in a really good place and hopefully we can get three points.”

MANSFIELD Maris 66

GEORGE MARIS praised team-mate Hiram Boateng for the assist that led to Mansfield’s matchwinner.

Goalscorer Maris said: “You know when he gets it on his left foot, you’ve got to make a move into the right area.

“It was a bit of an awkward height.

Everyone said I should’ve headed it, but I’m not the best header of the ball, so I got my foot through it.”
