YOU might not have heard of Mackenzie Scott but you probably have heard of her ex-husband, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.

Thanks to Jeff’s little empire Mackenzie has a net worth of almost £30billion. But here’s the thing – she’s busy giving it away.

And, by all accounts, she intends to give a lot more away.

Last year data revealed only one out of three new starts at Amazon, under Jeff’s leadership, stayed with the company for 90 or more days. And Amazon, according to a report in the Guardian, has earned the dubious distinction of replacing Walmart as America’s fiercest anti-union employer.

I think there might be a clue here why their marriage didn’t work out.
