A place to hang out in future
IT’S still almost impossible to predict what the metaverse will become as those creating it have yet to settle on a definition.
But many of the world’s finest minds now recognise it could be a major new way of
connecting online. Imagine it like turning your Facebook page into a local bar or park.
Some say spending time in a virtual world would be their version of hell but the biggest names in tech and entertainment are betting on the metaverse becoming the
place we want to hang out in the future.
Mark Zuckerberg changed the name of his business to Meta and is pumping billions into the meta-verse, while laying off thousands from his social media empire to make it happen.
