Suffragette’s gong for sale

A SUFFRAGETTE’S rare hunger strike medal is tipped to sell for £12,500.

Emma Power was arrested for trying to chain herself to the Buckingham Palace gates in 1914.

She turned away food in jail to highlight the cause.

Her Women’s Social and Political Union medal is being auctioned by Potter & Potter of Chicago, US.
