EX-EASTENDER Ross Kemp feels the presence of TV mum Barbara Windsor at his home.

The actor, 58, said: “There is always a bit of Barbara hanging around. I have got a picture of Barbara at home in my house, which I will always keep.

“It’s very dear to me.

“She gave it to me when I first met her. I will always keep it.”

Ross’s comments come after Babs’ bereaved hubby revealed he also feels her presence, at the home they shared. In an emotional chat last week,

Scott Mitchell, 59, confessed: “I do still feel her by my side.

“There’s certain times in the house, it’s just a wonderful feeling, my skin will tingle and come alive and I sense that I’m not by myself. “I’ll look at a picture of her and just sense something, I know she’s there.”

Ross and Babs struck up a close friendship while starring on

Eastenders together in the 90s. They remained close and he was a rock-solid support during her years living with Alzheimer’s.

The former Carry On star was diagnosed with the degenerative brain condition in 2014 and died on December 10, 2020, aged 83.

Ross plans to honour her memory with a tipple on the twoyear anniversary of her death.

He said of the upcoming date: “I will be remembering Barbara. I will be lifting a glass to the lady.”
