Yule pay £100 for dog treats

DOG owners expect to spend about £100 on average on gifts for their pets this Christmas.

That is despite 54% of them being worried about the cost of living crisis.

More than a third (36%) of dog owners said they will cut back on the number of people on their Christmas list.

Helen Whiteside, of the Guide Dogs charity, said: “We want to reassure owners you don’t need to break the bank to give your dogs a fun festive season.”
