MY AMAZING PHOTOGRAPH

The magical relationship between one girl and her horse in the green pastures of the Welsh countryside is affectionately reflected in this portrait by proud mum Rhian Leach. The 46-year-old photographer, who lives in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, says: “My 10-year-old daughter Menna had just finished her riding lesson for the evening and was turning her favourite girl Betty out to the field for the night. “The image of them both and the bond they share at the beautiful equestrian centre, Maggie’s Voice, in the rolling Welsh hills, was something I had to capture.”
