-

OXFORD UNITED reached the second round of the FA Cup after a 2-1 victory at Woking in their rearranged match last night.

League One Oxford took the lead in the 39th minute through Billy Bodin (above), but National League Woking were soon level as Rohan Ince equalised four minutes later. Just eight minutes into the restart the visitors were back in front thanks to a goal from Tyler Goodrham. Oxford will host Exeter City in the second round.

In last night’s first-round replay, League Two Salford suffered a 3-0 home defeat against League One Peterborough. Jack Marriot scored twice on 78 and 83 minutes after Ephron Mason-clark had opened the scoring six minutes before half-time.

Posh now play Shrewsbury away.
