Recession and economy shrink

Jeremy Hunt said the UK was already in a recession with the economy expected to shrink further next year. Forecasts warn unemployment could peak at 4.9% in autumn 2024 with over half a million potentially losing their jobs. Living standards will also be eroded by 7% by 2024, wiping out the previous eight years of growth.
