TAX burden at highest level

THE Tories will take the UK’S tax burden to the highest level since the Second World War with bills going up for the majority. In one of the most painful measures the income tax threshold freeze will be extended for two years in a raid on millions of workers. Local authorities will also be able to increase council tax by 5% annually for the next five years.
