Pensions and benefits up 10%

STATE pension and benefits will rise by 10.1% in line with inflation. Pensioners will get £870 over the year and the average Universal Credit household £600. Pension Credit will also rise by inflation and the benefit cap will go up from £20,000 to £22,020. But 600,000 part timers on UC will have to seek more hours or face having benefits stopped.
