Kept alive by feeding tube and biscuits
A WOMAN with a rare condition that means digestive biscuits are the only solid food she can eat is trying to raise £80,000 for medical treatment.
Talia Sinnott, 25, has gastroparesis, which means she vomits when she eats as her stomach struggles to process food.
She relies on feeding tubes and a digestive “here and there” and is now trying to raise funds for a gastric pacemaker, which would let her digest food.
The treatment is not available on the NHS.
Talia, from Wolverhampton, West Mids, told the BBC: “It is a very difficult condition to live with.
“If I eat or drink pretty much anything I am often left in a lot of pain or with severe nausea or just throwing up.”
