Tory chaos has left us in crisis

BRITAIN has so much potential but 12 years of terrible Tory choices are holding us back.

The Conservatives blame everyone else but they got our economy into this mess.

The respected Institute for Fiscal Studies said yesterday they’ve committed “economic own goals”.

The difference is stark. While Rishi Sunak picks the pockets of working people, Labour has a proper vision to grow our economy again.

Our Green Prosperity Plan will create quality new jobs in every part the country by investing in the industries of the future. It will power our homes with cheap, clean energy and reduce household bills.

Labour would also ensure that if you make Britain your home you pay your taxes here. We’d scrap non-dom tax status and use the cash to fund our NHS instead.

The Tories haven’t done that. Instead, they’ve cut taxes for the banks while clobbering ordinary working people.

After 12 years of Tory government we face the highest tax burden since the Second World War, soaring bills, and the biggest hit to living standards on record.

It’s time for change and Labour will make the fair choices our country needs.

Because Britain can’t afford this Tory chaos any longer.
