Grave times, George

- BY MARK JEFFERIES

BOY George endures the Watery Grave trial ahead of last night’s eviction on I’m A Celebrity.

The Culture Club singer was joined by Charlene White who had to abandon the bushtucker trial.

It involved climbing down into tombs and trying to release 11 stars in a maze by using magnets.

Boy George also admitted he “can’t stand” Matt Hancock and finally told him how he felt, saying he ruined the camp dynamic and he disliked him as a politician.

The singer, 61, began by slagging off the disgraced Tory to Seann Walsh, adding: “I have tried to like him and I’ve failed. I find him slimy.”

And when the MP arrived to join their chat he did not hold back after an earlier incident.

Boy George told

Hancock: “I was making a joke about the chocolate. I didn’t like the way you looked at me.”

Matt replied: “I’m really sorry about that.

That wasn’t my intention at all.” Also

on the show, Charlene admitted she “crumbled” during the Watery Grave trial that involved her worst nightmare of being underground. She told Boy George: “You might have to talk me through this George, help me try and not absolutely freak out.” She added: “I don’t think I can do this.

I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!”

Boy George gave the crying star a hug and said: “It was tough.”
