BASE CAMP FOR DAVIES

ADAM DAVIES admits he is a wannabe DJ and says he hopes to find a “winning mix” for Wales’ dressing room.

The Sheffield United goalkeeper has four caps and has travelled to Qatar as Rob Page’s third choice. But Davies (above) believes he could still play a vital role helping get Wales’ stars fired up with some pre-match tunes.

His first live set will be on Monday night before Wales’ opener against USA at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. Davies said: “If there is a mix that wins, we will stick with that because it is the winning mix.

“It will be house music. It will be a lot of drops and base.”
