MATT Hancock’s girlfriend has joined the widespread hilarity over his I’m A Celebrity dance moves – mocking his attempt at the electric slide in a letter sent into camp.

It was one of 10 written by loved ones and won in a balancing challenge.

Hancock bent double in his bid to stay upright – almost like he did when Scarlette Douglas was trying to teach him the dance routine last week.

Gina Coladangelo, the former aide whose lockdown kiss with the MP led to him quitting as Health Secretary, had flown to Australia to support him ahead of last night’s eviction.

In her letter, read out by footballer Jill Scott, she wrote: “Wow, watching you in the jungle has been quite the experience. We’re particularly impressed that you conquered your fear of snakes. We’re less sure about the dancing. Although you almost got the electric slide thanks to Scarlette.”

There was also a letter from royalty as Zara Tindall wrote to husband Mike, telling him how their 19-month-old son Lucas is beginning to talk more.

Zara, who also has Mia, eight, and Lena, four, with the former rugby star, wrote: “Hi my love, we are missing you so much and really needing some papa hugs, but glad you’re sharing them with your campmates. The girls are enjoying sports and throwing themselves into everything at the moment and the little man is loving life, smashing it up, learning some new words.”

The royal words were read out by Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver, and Mike in turn read out her letter – in which husband Brian asked: “Where are the dishwasher tablets?”

Comedian Babatunde Aleshe read Scarlette’s note from her mum praising the A Place in the Sun presenter for “encouraging your jungle buddies”.

After 10 days in the jungle, Hancock finally made his first mention of dyslexia – despite insisting before he went in that it was his primary reason for going on the ITV show.

Slammed for taking time out while Parliament is sitting, he had said gaining momentum for a dyslexia bill going through next month was more of a motivation for taking part than his £400,000 fee. He has not discussed the bill on screen – but last night he did bring up his own dyslexia, diagnosed at 18. He said: “The moment I was identified as dyslexic at university, suddenly instead of feeling I was just rubbish at something and useless, it was ahhhh… so it’s just my brain works differently.” There was another victory for Mike and Jill in The Speak Uneasy drinking challenge, winning all 10 stars by downing glasses of blended cockroaches, fish eyes, snails, goat testicle, pig penis and vomit fruit.

Last night Scarlette Douglas was evicted from the jungle.
