Twisted lights in Xmas woes

CHRISTMAS may be fun, but it can also be pretty stressful, with a string of things that can go wrong.

A survey found working out what to buy for presents, remembering food and untangling lights for the tree are among the top 10 woes.

Wrapping awkwardly shaped objects, getting the timings just right for Christmas dinner and faking enthusiasm for gifts also appear on the list of yuletide anxiety. The survey was carried out by Tesco, which is offering shoppers the chance of winning £100 by revealing what roles they find tough.

The store’s Alessandra Bellini said: “We’ve appointed a panel of six advisers.

“Their hints and tips will be shared with the nation to help make sure the festivities run smoothly.”
