YOUR MEMORIES

I am a member of the Windrush generation and this picture was taken when the family was still in Jamaica in the mid-1950s in a small seaside town called Johnson Town, near Lucea. It shows my dad, Trevor, and mum, Ruby.

My elder brother, Henry, is on the far left, my twin brothers, Earl and Worrell, are both sitting and I’m holding my cat on the far right. Mum and Dad have both passed away but Mum received her centenarian letter from the Queen.

I am still taking care of cats!
