Ban alcohol for 5-yr-olds

GIVING alcohol to fiveyear-olds should be made illegal, says a leading health education lecturer.

Parents can currently give children alcohol at home from the age of five.

But psychologist Dr Aric Sigman says research shows children’s brains can be rewired by booze.

He added the law change would cut alcoholrelated illness and deaths.
