Airport Leeds queue delays

LEEDS Bradford Airport is the worst for queue waits.

Which? said passengers spent an average of 35 minutes in security lines.

One in four waited for over an hour between February and August.

Nine UK airports also produced similar delays.

But City Airport in East London was top, with an average time of 12 minutes.

Leeds Bradford Airport said: “We had periods of long queueing due to the rapid resumption of international travel after the lifting of pandemic restrictions.

“We have significantly reduced queueing.”
