Outnumbered star Hugh Dennis is up for bringing back the hit BBC sitcom in which he played beleaguered dad Pete opposite Claire Skinner as wife Sue.

It’s been six years since the comedy ended, and while kids Jake, Ben and Karen are grown up, Hugh’s still wants a reboot.

“I would love to do more Outnumbered in whatever form,” he said. “Somehow in my head I kind of think we could do it where it’s the other way round and they have to look after us. But we’re not quite old enough yet.” Hey, one for the future.
