MY CRAFT CORNER

-

Beachcomber Miriam O’shea lives by the wild Atlantic coast in Cork, Ireland, and spends her days making art from nature’s treasures that wash up on the shore.

Her pretty hearts of glass and families of rocks also have an important message.

She explains: “I collect sea glass and sea pottery, which is recycled by the sea, and I use them in my craft project. My work is a reminder to take care of our environment and to do the same with human beings who find themselves at the mercy of traffickers.

“It is never right to treat people as trash.”

Showcase your arts and crafts projects by sending snaps of your work, your full name, location and age to siobhan. mcnally@mirror.co.uk.
