Leo’s almost Titanic error
TITANIC director James Cameron has revealed Leonardo Dicaprio nearly talked himself out of a part in the 1997 blockbuster.
James, 68, described how Leo, now 48, had told him, “Oh, I don’t read” for roles or do screen tests.
The director told GQ he then explained: “This is a giant movie... So I’m not gonna f*** it up by making the wrong decision in casting. So you’re going to read or you’re not going to get the part.”
