MASKED-MAN SON IS NO RISK

HEUNG-MIN SON will play today despite South Korea boss Paulo Bento insisting there is a no-risk policy with his man-inthe-mask.
The Tottenham forward (right) has been in a race against time to be fit after suffering multiple fractures of his left eye socket during a clash in Marseille two weeks ago.
Questions about the skipper’s progress have been rationed following fevered spectulation in his homeland about his participation in Qatar. But Bento confirmed the 30-year-old will be in action against Uruguay. He said: “Son will be able to play. We’ve had a plan since we arrived here and we have stuck to it. The fact he will be wearing a mask won’t be an inconvenience for him.
“Of course, we’ll see how it will be. Our hope is that he will feel as comfortable as possible during the game. He knows – and we know too – that we cannot take any risks.”
