Top class, Jude

-

JUDE Bellingham was dreaming of pulling on the England shirt when he was still in primary school.

The star, 19, wrote of his hopes to play for his country in his year’s leavers book in 2014, aged 10.

Under “When I grow up I want to be...” Jude penned: “Professional footballer for Barcelona and England.”

Vanessa Payne, right, head of Hagley Primary School, near Stourbridge, West Mids, said it was clear that Jude would become a star. She said: “He’s left a legacy here of sportsmanship and ambition, and trying to be the best you can be. He stood out for us.

“He was such a fantastic young man. He was kind, he was thoughtful and he was a good sport.”
