Merry Christmutts

-

PUPS got a pre-christmas nibble in the grounds of Stormont on Sunday.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes made sure festive helpers were busy in the grounds of parliament as they queued up for some Jollyes treats.

Guide Dogs NI were there too as the pet firm released a Uk-wide poll revealing pet owners in Northern Ireland are the most generous when it comes to buying presents and serving special festive feeds for their furry friends.

A total of 83% of local pet owners will put a gift under the tree for their beloved pets this Christmas while the same number are planning to make their pets a special Christmas meal.

Across the UK only one in ten (11%) of people plan to spend more on their friends and families this Christmas and almost half (43%) to spend less, the Cison/maru survey of 1,000 people showed.
